Originally from North Carolina, Latasha relocated to Atlanta in 1996 to assist in the church planting of Destiny Metropolitan Worship Church (DMWC). At DMWC, Latasha served as the Life Development Director and Youth Initiatives Director. She now facilitates annual workshops, trainings, seminars and conferences for other youth leaders and students. She also serves as a state mentor for Purpose Drive Youth Ministry, a mentor to other leaders, and an abstinence educator and motivational speaker in the Cobb\Fulton County, GA school system.
She is a leader at galvanizing volunteers and appreciating everyone’s unique gifts/talents in order to collectively produce groundbreaking youth programming on a consistent basis. She firmly believes that outside of the home, the church should be the most relevant and influential place a student could ever frequent.
With a Bachelor of Science in Child Development and Family Relations from East Carolina University, Latasha has worked in children’s and youth ministry for the past 12 years. Her life has been given over to providing hope to the next generation no matter what it takes. She has invested her life to teaching today’s generation to be tomorrow’s leaders TODAY.
