The Ordinary Abolitionist can be you. I found out about trafficking 5 years ago. I didn’t know what to do. I started connecting with people who knew more than me. I sought them out. I read blogs, articles, books, watched videos from YouTube and attended events related to Slavery. Through this I meet a group of like minded individuals and my life hasn’t been the same. Don’t be discouraged if you don’t know anything about Modern- Day Slavery we all started out not knowing. The difference is we decided not to stay clueless or blind to the atrocities. Fear can paralyze you. Now is not the time to be paralyzed.

It’s time to act.

Time to pray.

Time to put your hands and mouth in motion!

We have an opportunity to make a difference. Slavery may exist but it’s not because I’ve decided not to do something. Here are 3 things you can do today.

1. Read this article: http://thecnnfreedomproject.blogs.cnn.com/2011/04/20/the-facts-slavery-human-trafficking-definitions/

2. Find someone that knows more than you and setup a time to meet with them.

3. Get plugged into a group of abolitionist in your area to turn your awareness in ACTION!
